The JSC «KazTransCom» is a modern telecommunication company providing high-tech communication services all over the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Joint-Stock Company «KazTransCom» was established in 2001, as a result of three companies merging — the JSC «CaspiMunayBailanys», JSC «Aktjubneftesviaz» and JSC «Bailanys». The Joint-Stock Company «KazTransCom» is actively introducing the latest achievements of telecommunication technologies in its activities, at the same time preserving historic traditions developed by the companies-predecessors.

The JSC «KazTransCom» is busy with implementing important telecommunication projects on the greater part of Kazakhstan's area and active solving the task set by the State — creation of the up-to-date communication infrastructure in the Republic. The Company branches are established and successfully operating in cities of Atyrau, Aktau, Uralsk, Aktobe, Astana, Almaty, Pavlodar. The Company's communication infrastructure includes the following:

•  the cable backbone network of the JSC «KazTransCom», whose length will make 11 thousand km, as a result of the planned investment projects implementation.
  
•  several hundreds of satellite stations, providing for the complete coverage of the territory of Kazakhstan and including the corporate networks of the largest customers: the JSC «NC «КazMunayGas», JSC «Intergas Central Asia», JSC «КаzTransOil»; 
  

• local telephone communication;
  
• intercity and international telephone communication;
  
• broad-band access to the Internet network;
  
• transparent data channels lease;
  
• virtual private networks;
  
• private networks technical servicing and support;
• IT-service;
  
• various additional services depending on clients' desires.

Quality Management System (QMS) of the Company was certified in August 2003. The JSC «KazTransCom» became the first telecommunication company, whose quality management system had been awarded with the appropriate certificate. Professional Safety, Health and Environment Management System successfully passed the certified audit in October 2005.

The Company passed re-certification audit in 2006, performed by an appropriate certification body. This exercise has confirmed that the QMS is continuously developing and fully complies with the ISO 9001:2000 requirements, with continuation of certifying the Professional Safety, Health and Environment Management System under ISO 14001:2004 and BSI OHSAS 18001:1999 standards. Validity of the QMS Certificate of Compliance with the ISO 9001:2000 international standard has been extended until August 2009.
