The Mangistau branch being a structural subdivision of the JSC «KazTransCom», renders telecommunciation services in the Western region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. After being organized in 2001, the Mangistau branch passed through a number of reorganizations and is newly established in 2005. At the moment, the Mangistau branch participates in implementation of the unique telecommunication project in the strategically significant region of Kazakhstan — the area where oil-and-gas companies are run and require the operational and top-quality communications.

By the present moment, the Eastern branch of the JSC «KazTransCom» renders the following services:

•  local, intercity and international telephone communication;
  
•  arrangement of corporate networks on data and voice transmission;
  
•  communication channels arrangement over the CIS territory and far abroad;
  
•  communication arrangement on the basis of satellite DAMA-technologies;
  
•  Internet network access;
  
•  trunking communication;
  
•  complex servicing of computer networks;
  
•  arrangement of various capacity transparent channels.

Creation of the telecommunication infrastructure in the Western region opens the access to it for any companies helping to rapidly develop businesses and new markets. Implementation of this project is extremely important for the oil-and-gas industry companies, who need the radical modernization of the telecommunication system. Creation of the telecommunication infrastructure in the Western region will allow rendering the whole range of services (all traditional services — in one channel: telephone connection, Internet, video, etc.). «Overlapped» (superimposed) networking and arrangement of the proprietory integrated nodes for rendering the services of telephony, Internet network access, and data traffic transmission allows prompt providing of the telecommunication services demanded by the market.
