1966

August 18 — the Directive issued by the USSR Council of Ministers No. 1933 on construction of the oil pipeline trunk Uzen — Kulsary — Kuibyshev, was accepted.

1968

January 31 — The Ministry for oil producing industry was set a task to design the construction of a cable communication line with application of a KMB-4 cable along the oil pipeline in the section Guriev — Uralsk, and of a symmetrical cable line (MKSB 4×4 × 1,2) — in the section Uralsk — Kuibyshev. The designed trunk was assigned to be the major oil pipeline system.

1970

June — the order was issued by the Minister for Minnefteprom on organization of the Guriev maintenance engineering communication office, and the order No.1 on hiring the first GMECO employees and placement on the first site of Guriev city in the building of the then UyzhUMNPP office.

July 28 — GMECO signed the first contract on rendering the communication services to UyzhUMNPP. The main communication type is radiocommunication. August — radio-relay stations were constructed (by the radioshop of GMECO) Makhambet — Karmanovo, Inder — Kulagino; Sakharnyi — Chapayevo, B. Chagan — Uralsk. The radiostations of the Р-118, Р-102-type were installed for reserving the radio-relay lines on the heating units of the oil pipeline Karmanovo, Inder, 941st km, Sakharnui, B. Chagan.

October 30 — GMECO accepted for the safe custody the coaxial cable trunk via the Ural river on the section Uzen-Guriev (699 km long), southern leg.

October — the following shops are opened: No. 1 — Uzen, No.2 — Sai-Utes, No.3 — Beineu, No. 4 — Opornaya, No. 5 — Kulsary, No.6 — Guriev, No. 7 — Inder, No.8 — Sakharnyi, No. 9 — Uralsk, No. 10 — a laboratory (Shevchenko city). The following departments were organized: maintenance engineering, material and technical supply, an accounting office.

October 24 — a trade-union organization was organized in GMECO.

December 21 — a political party organization was established in GMECO.

1971

February — the dispatch (conference) communication was arranged on the putinized pairs of symmetrical quads with application of official traffic and audio frequency boosters, that significantly improved the dispatcher's operation with heating units along the Uzen — Guriev cable.

April — the production-measuring laboratory was re-located from Shevchenko city to Guriev, and from 30.09.71 started its operation with a new staff; the K-24-2 system was put into operation in the section Uzen-Guriev; the work was performed by assemblers and adjusters of MB trust «Mezhgorsviazstroi» jointly with the GMECO specialists; a Komsomol organization was established in GMECO.

May — shop No.9 and Uralsk shop were united and named the shop No. 9. The shop of radiocommunication No. 12 became the shop No. 10.

June — radiostations were installed (in cars and dillies at oil pumping stations and heating unit sites along the routes) in points: OPS Uzen (Р-102, РСО-30); PP — 66th km (PCO 30); OPS Sai-Utes (РСО — ЗО, Р-102); PP — 22nd km (PCO 30); OPS Beineu (PCO 30, P-102); PP Opornaya (РСО-ЗО, Р-118); OPS Kulsary (PCO-30); PP-60th km (PCO-30); Guriev — 5th km (Р-118, РСО-ЗО).

July — radiostations with the trucks (ZiL-157K) were transferred to the permanent service in the first — third shops (Uzen, Sai-Utes, Beineu).

July 28 — a radio-relay communication line was constructed and adjusted in the section: a switch-board PP No.5 (5th km) that provided the access to the channels of the Ministry of Communications: Guriev-Moscow, Guriev-Inder, Guriev-Uralsk, Guriev-Mangyshlak.

August 1 — re-location of the GMECO was performed to the 5th km of the Uralsk highway, first — to the building of the oil-and-gas board.

December — construction of two trunk cable lines MKSABPV 4×4 × 1,2 was accomplished in the section B. Chagan-Kuibyshev. The section B. Chagan NUP-5 (88.6 km) was assigned to the GMECO. The works on assembling, adjustment and optimization of the system were performed by the Guriev and Kuibyshev MECO.
The Act of the State commission was signed on commissioning of the K-60 communication system in the section B. Chagan-Kuibyshev. The works on assembling, adjustment and passportization (conditioning) of the system were performed by the Guriev and Kuibyshev MECO.
1185 km of the KMB-4 cable were laid in the section Uzen-Guriev-B.Chagan-Krugloozernoye.

December 28 — the GMECO accepted additional 487 km of the trunk cable for the safe custody in the section Guriev-B.Chagan, as well as two repeater points under servicing: Guriev PP-6 and B. Chagan PP9.

1972

January — the dispatcher (conference) circuit was arranged via the trunk cable in the section Guriev-B.Chagan (487 km of the northern leg) similar to the southern one.

January — the K-24-2 system was commissioned in the section Uzen-Guriev-Uralsk that allowed providing the technological communication to Yuzhnoye, Gurievskoye, Balykshinskoye and Uralskoye oil pipeline boards with heating units and oil pumping stations along the oil pipeline from Uzen to Uralsk.

March 20 — the shop No.4 Opornaya and shop No.7 Inder were inactivated and transferred to the shops No. Beineu, No. 5 Kulsary, No.6 Guriev, No.8 Sakharnyi (Order in the GMECO No. 28).

January-June — the GMECO specialists participated in arrangement of communication and construction of radio-relay lines in Tomsk within the startup period of the oil pipeline Alexandrovskoye-Tomsk-Anzhero-Sudzhensk.

August — the construction group was organized at the GMECO (order No.87).

September 13 — a reclamation team was organized (on the basis of the production-measuring laboratory and cable section of the shop No.6) for detecting and sparkover trouble shooting and cable sealing.

June-December — assembling and adjusting the K-1920 system, its commissioning.

December — the voice-frequency channel Opornaya-Beineu was arranged; inspection and testing of subwater cables was performed.
That year several PBX were commissioned in Uzen (May), Sai-Utes (September), Beineu (June), Guriev (December).

1974

Construction of the proprietory industrial base started.

1975

The GMECO administrative and production buildings were put into operation on the 5th km of the Uralsk highway.
The State Commission Acts were signed on putting the K-1920 system into operation in the section Uzen-Guriev (694 km) and in the section Guriev-B.Chagan (456 km).
The technical staff of the office started the traffic technological assimilation of the complicated communication systems, and set a course to their technically justified maintenance.

1976

The State Commission Acts were signed on putting the K-1920 and K-24k systems into operation in the section Uzen-Aktau (152 km).
The State Commission Act was signed on putting the K-1920 system into operation in the section Guriev-TV center (22 km).

1982

The State Commission Acts were signed on putting the K+12+12 system into operation in the section Aktau-Umirzak (73 km).

1983

The State Commission Acts were signed on putting the K-120HC system into operation in the section Guriev-Makat-OPS-3NUP8/4 (304 km).

1984

April — the GMECO was renamed into the Pricaspian production-technical communication board.

1985

The State Commission Acts were signed on putting the K-120HC system into operation in the section Aktau-Kalamkas (252 km).

1987

The State Commission Acts were signed on putting the K+12+12 system into operation in the section Sai-Utes-Karazhambas (209 km).
The State Commission Acts were signed on putting the K-120HC system into operation in the section Kulsary-Tengiz (135 km).

1990

The State Commission Acts were signed on putting the K+12+12 system into operation in the section Kigach-Guriev (285 km).
The State Commission Acts were signed on putting the K+12+12 system into operation in the section Guriev-Kulsary (170 km).

1991

The State Commission Acts were signed on putting the К+12+12 system into operation in the section Kulsary-Opornaya (95 km).

1993

December 13 — the PPTUS was reorganized into the joint-stock company «Caspi Munai Bailanys» (reg.certificate No. 764-93 of 13.11.1993) and entered the holding company «Munaigas» under the Ministry of Oil-and-Gas Industry.

1994

A natural disaster happened in Atyrau (Guriev) region — a hige floood that caused material damage to the city and districts including «Caspi Munai Bailanys» amounting 10 million tenge. More than 300 km of the cable route line were flooded.
The State Commission Acts were signed on putting the K+12+12 system into operation in the section Dossor-Baichunas (39 km).

1996

Equipment for 24 channels was installed on the cable communication line along the water pipeline Opornaya-Beineu.
New equipment for 6 channels was put into operation that ensured communication with a new oil field «Kotyrtas» of the NGDU «Kainarmynaigas» within the system of JSC «Embamunaigas».
Communication was arranged with application of the equipment for 24 channels in the section Akkistau-Zaburenje for the NGDU «Zhaiykmunaigas».
PBX for 50 numbers was put into operation in the NGDU «Dossormunaigas».

1997

The cable communication line (15 km) Zhamansor-Makat compressed with the 6-channel equipment was commissioned.
Substitution of the outdated decadic PBX was performed in the shop No. 6 (Atyrau) with the digital PBX of the DKH-4 type for 200 numbers.

1999

The satellite and trunking communication network of the NCOT «KazTransCom» was accepted for servicing.

2001

05.03.2001- the OJSC «Caspi munai bailanys» was renamed into the OJSC «KazTransSviaz».

05.03.2001- reorganization of the OJSC «Caspi munai bailanys» («KazTransSviaz») by means of joining the OJSC «Aktjubneftesviaz».

19.03.2001 — the decision is made on estabishment of the Western branch of the JSC «KazTransSviaz». Reason: the Minutes No.1 of the extraordinary general meeting of the OJSC «Caspi munai bailanys» dated 05.03.2001.

07.06.2001- the OJSC «KazTransSviaz» is renamed into the OJSC «KazTransCom.

07.06.2001 — — reorganization of the OJSC «KazTransSviaz» by means of joining the OJSC «Bailanys», the Agreement on joining was approved between the OJSC «Bailanys» and the OJSC «KazTransSviaz». Reason: the extraordinary general meeting of the OJSC «KazTransSviaz».

2002

The FOCL (SDH-ring) was constructed and commissioned in Atyrau.

2004 

The JSC «KazTransCom» project committee made a decision on telecommunication network constructuin in the Western Kazakhstan.
The State License was obtained on rendering the services of intercity and international communication (connection) (issued on 14.10.2004 by the RK Agency on informatization and communication).

2005
 

Within the framework of the project «Communication network development in the Western Kazakhstan», the following objects were commissioned in Atyrau city:

— IN access node;
— International switching center;
— SDH trunk Atyrau-Aktau of the STM-16 level.

2006

Interfacing was performed with international telecommunication operators.
The works are performed on deployment of the iDirect satellite communication network.

2007

I-Direct satellite communication network was put into operation.
First stage of NGN construction was finished in Astana.
New brand COM.ON  for Internet services was launched in Western Branch (Atyrau)

2008

Restyling KazTransCom was put into effect.  New KazTransCom logo was confirmed.
