The branch of the JSC «KazTransCom» located in Astana is one of the most perspective and steadily developing branches. Its history started in August 2001 with establishing the representative office of the JSC «KazTransCom» in Astana, when merging of several companies resulted in establishment of the Joint-Stock Company «KazTransCom».

In June 2002, the Astana branch of the JSC «KazTransCom» was established on the basis of the said representative office.

The Eastern branch is a structural subdivision of the JSC «KazTransCom». It renders telecommunication services in the Eastern region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. As an independent structural unit, the Eastern branch started its activities five years ago, in August 2001.

The main production objective of the WB JSC «KazTransCom» consists in providing oil pipelines of the Western Branch CJSC «KazTransOil» with the top-quality and uninterrupted technological communications.

By the present moment, the Eastern branch of the JSC «KazTransCom» renders the following services: 

•  production-technological communication services; 
•  engineering maintenance of the equipment;
•  cable circuit maintenance and repair.

Activities on oil pipeline communication networks servicing is regulated by the signed agreements and contracts, and all commitments undertaken on them are fulfilled by the EB JSC «KazTransCom» with high quality and in due time.

At present, a large-scale project related to construction of the telecommunication network in the Western Kazakhstan is under implementation. The Eastern branch of the JSC «KazTransCom» intends to offer high-tech telecommunication services: telephone communication, high-speed Internet, trunk channels lease, and a wide range of additional telecommunication services.

 

The Western branch is one of the oldest branches of the JSC «KazTransCom» whose history of establishment and development started 35 years ago with creation of the Guriev maintenance-engineering communication office. Emergence of a young enterprise was caused by the rapid development of the oil industry in the western Kazakhstan. 

In 1984, the Guriev maintenance-engineering communication office was renamed into the Precaspian production-technical communication board (PPTCB), that provided for maintenance and upkeep of cable and radio-relay communication lines; the intercity, and starting from 1991 — international telephone communication for the population of Mangistau, Atyrau and Western Kazakhstan region. 

In December 1993, the enterprise was reorganized into the Joint-Stock Company and renamed as «CaspiMunaiBailanys».

The complex modernization of the enterprise was carried out as follows: the satellite equipment was installed, as well as digital PBX and trunking mobile radiocommunication equipment, subscribers'  were switched on to modern digital PBX of the HARRIS-type. On August 1, 2001, merging of several companies — the JSC KaspiMunaiBailanys«, JSC «Aktjubneftesviaz» and JSC «Bailanys» — resulted in establishment of the Joint-Stock Company «KazTransCom».

The Western branch being one of the structural subdivisions of the JSC «KazTransCom», continues deep traditions and applies the rich experience gained in the field of rendering telecommunication services in the Western region of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

At the moment, the Western branch offers the following telecommunication services: 

• local, intercity and international telephone communication; 
• organization of corporate networks on data and voice transmission; 
• communication channels arrangement over the CIS territory and far abroad; 
• communication arrangement on the basis of satellite DAMA-technologies; 
• Internet network access; 
• trunking communication; 
• complex servicing of computer networks; 
• arrangement of various capacity transparent channels.

Development of the proprietory trunk network on the basis of optical technologies allows rendering services to major corporate clients, communication operators, either alternative or mobile, performing international traffic termination and transit, as well as diversifying the range of services rendered

The Aktobe branch is one of the largest subdivisions of the JSC «KazTransCom», whose history of establishment and development started in the last eighties. Quarter of a century ago, in 1981, the Aktobe maintenance-engineering communication office (AMECO) was established by the order issued by the Minister of the Oil-and-Gas Industry, whose main objective was providing telecommunication services to the largest at that time oil producing enterprise in Aktobe region – PA «Aktjubneft». In 1983, the AMECO was renamed into the Western Kazakhstan Communication Board (WKCB), and in 1993, the WKCB was reorganized into the JSC «Aktjubneftesviaz» by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and basing on the resolution of the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan «On Privatization of the Plants in the Oil-and-Gas Complex». On August 1, 2001, several companies – the JSC «KaspiMunaiBailanys», JSC «Aktjubneftesviaz» and JSC «Bailanys» merged, that resulted in establishment of the Joint-Stock Company «KazTransCom». The Uralsk branch being a structural subdivision of the JSC «KazTransCom», has the deep traditions and rich experience in rendering telecommunciation services in the Western region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. And though December 2001 is regarded to be the time of the branch establishment, the history of the enterprise goes back to the 70-s of the last century. In 1976, when construction of compressor stations and trunk oil pipelines started, the Uralsk linear site was a part of the Communication Board «Orenburggazprom» as a unit of the gas transportation agency. 
The State enterprise «Kazakhgazsviaz» was established in November 1991 as an independent structure. At present, the Uralsk branch performs engineering maintenance of communication facilities and computeing machinery of the enterprises engaged in gas transit: UMG «Uralsk», UMG «Atyrau» and UPN E&P. It also participates in implementation of the unique telecommunication project in the strategically significant region of Kazakhstan — the area where oil-and-gas companies are run and require the operational and top-quality communications.

By the present moment, the Uralsk branch of the JSC «KazTransCom» offers the following services: 

•  local, intercity and international telephone communication; 
•  arrangement of corporate networks on data and voice transmission; 
•  communication channels arrangement over the CIS territory and far abroad; 
•  communication arrangement on the basis of satellite DAMA-technologies;
•  Internet network access;

The Uralsk branch of the JSC «KazTransCom» actively develops its own infrastructure (FOCL laying in Uralsk and Aksai cities). The main goal of performing activities by the branch is multifunctional networking able to render the full range of telecommunication services demanded by the market.

 

The Mangistau branch being a structural subdivision of the JSC «KazTransCom», renders telecommunciation services in the Western region of the Republic of Kazakhstan. After being organized in 2001, the Mangistau branch passed through a number of reorganizations and is newly established in 2005. At the moment, the Mangistau branch participates in implementation of the unique telecommunication project in the strategically significant region of Kazakhstan — the area where oil-and-gas companies are run and require the operational and top-quality communications.

By the present moment, the Eastern branch of the JSC «KazTransCom» renders the following services:
